Our Story

Carmen & Kirsten are a mother and daughter duo creating beautiful chaos in the middle of nowhere. Where cornfields and pastures line the quiet country roads and a traffic jam consist of a local farmer heading to another field.

Diamonds & Dust took shape 8 Years ago when we started our first business venture together by opening up a rustic barn wedding venue on Kirsten's grandparents farm. Not only did we transform the 100 year old barn into something magical, we used our ever growing collection of vintage furniture to decorate parties and weddings that were held here. As the business grew, so did our dreams.

Our plans for a store front had been one of those dreams for a few years. We wanted a place that we could use our creativity and continue to build our brand. We searched in town for the perfect building and couldn't seem to find something that really spoke to our vision and style.

Thats when we decided there was no better place to start then right here in the country. We transformed a small building on Carmen's farm into a unique, one-of-a-kind showroom that offers vintage furniture and home decor, along with boutique clothing and accessories. It's an ever changing menagerie of everything we love.

Our country roots mixed with our love for boho and vintage pieces make for a unique style
- not just for your home, but also the clothes you wear.

As Carmen said: "It's just about using things that you find and pulling it all together and creating a different look, I love to come in and just transform something. That's the fun of it."
